His Goodness

Prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ,... . ‘Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.

This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,...’ . ‘For the rest, brethren,... think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]... :

—whatever is true (Mercy),

—whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly- (Grace),’...

God’s promises are irrevocable... :

--He is absolutely trustworthy

--He is unchanging
