We are His Body of Christ

The Body that reflects the Holy Spirit....

Ephesians 4:4–6 ESV

4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

The church body is the result of the Holy Spirit.

Today’s church is not reflecting a church lead by the spirit.

The Lord is not a God of disorder.

The Lord is not a God of confusion.

The Lord is not a God of division and/or fights.

In the birth of the church as we know it today we find that there was already troubles concerning a true understanding of the nature of the church.

Paul had to deal with a church that dealt with divisions, fights and pride already in the church of Corinth.

The lack of unity in the church is dealing with the same problems of division, fights and pride. The church has not moved forward. The same vicious cycle plagues us today.

Man is it hard to bring Unity in the church. People are so selfish and don’t want to do anything that does not bring self gratification. Think about it, If something does not give you something great in return, we find it hard to give. Why would I give my tithe if I don’t see anything that brings me immediate satisfaction. God bless all who have overcome this selfish attitude. Some of you have.

Some people are not at peace until they can create problems (Chaos) in their life. It’s like they can’t be at peace. Peace is boring.

‌The problem is not the church, it’s deeper than that. It is within them.

God wants you to work on the chaos within your personal life as well.

I believe this unity will bring something positive within the families themselves.

Let’s hear the challenge before us from Paul.

We see here that Paul uses one word to show them the heart of God. “One

One body, the problem is that if the church is a body. The church demonstrates an unhealthy body.

One spirit, The new testament shows us that there are many spirits behind our actions. One spirit need to move our actions. The Holy Spirit.

One Lord, who are you serving. One Lord or those pride make you the lord you are serving?

One hope, One person hopes for one outcome, the other persona hopes for a different outcome. None is interested in God’s hope.

One God, do we all really share the same God? Think on this question personally.

We see here 7 one, Perfection is showed in the number 7. Don’t really want to pursue this, but it is something to ponder

Let’ look at a great lesson we find here in the Trinity.

Ephesians 4:4 ESV

These 3 ones reflect on the work on the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:5 ESV

5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

These 3 ones reflect on the attitude we are to show towards Jesus.

Ephesians 4:6 ESV

6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Finally v. 6 brings forth unity. God the Spirit doing His part, God the Son, doing His part and God the Father doing His part. Brings forth unity in the Trinity.

The order of the Unity.

There is a profound secret in the order of things.

He says 1st the Spirit present the church to 2nd the Son, the bride. Finally the Father of all things receives the church and allows this to bring His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Can it be done in a backward order? The father present the perfect church and tries to give the Son the perfect Bride. Letting the Spirit know what to do with the Body today.

Can a child learn a lesson if he has everything handed to them, no they are not wired like this vs If you fight for your blessing, You do things right to inherit the blessing.

We must work with the Spirit to present the best version of ourselves, This will allow Jesus to present us as the perfect bride to the father in turn we will live life in abundance.

One person opens doors for the next person.

What happens when we allow this work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. (Revival, Super Natural, Awesome services) will be the results.

It is a great work when you see the work of the Holy Spirit in your brother.
