Sunday Service
When did? Because of my preference does not dictate what God puts in her heart a man. If it's honoring, God, praise God. So I think that's important as we go forward. That's not the message today, but I needed to get out. There is a religion, that's okay. And if you have religion in your life, like if I religiously get up in the morning and read my Bible every day, and spend time in prayer, I think that's good religion. It keeps me on the spotted from the world a man and I'm not telling you you have to get up early in the morning. Maybe it works better for you to do it in the middle of the day. I don't care. Just spend time with God, Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah, not score today's message. I don't even know what it's going to be at, but I had a message prepared but I don't think I'm supposed to preach it. So I know it's becoming a theme Here, amen. what I was going to talk about is the fear of the Lord, but I don't think I'm going to today.
That was part of Wednesday, but you know, why God brought some clarification to Diamonds and maybe we'll talk about that on Wednesday again. Amen.
Hallelujah.
Bible says in mark 11:24, what? Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask for when you pray believe that you received them and you'll have them a man. That's what the Bible says. That's not my opinion. It's not self help. But I want you to see today that you're Victorious, we need to change the way we think about everything. You know, Evan has listening to John sending any kind of spark something in me and and, and we were talking this morning about different things that make a difference. That means things in India.
And maybe you think that's what difference does that make? It makes a big difference. Are you thinking why? It's just an appearance is just a thing but I'm telling you, what we want to do our best unto God, we want to give our best. We wants us to have the mindset that that were victorious and all things that my God shall supply, all your needs according to his glorious riches. And so, we need to change our mindset from whatever it is to Victory. You know what we talked about. You know, the Bible talks about in Ephesians chapter 6, where he were given the armor that we can stand. Having done all to stand what happens at the end of standing.
Victory.
Because if you just stand there forever taking the the attack of the enemy, eventually you're going to fail. There has to be Victory. There has to be a breakthrough. We always hear about breakthrough in church, who needs a breakthrough and everybody puts up their hand. If you're always waiting for that one breakthrough, then God is not who he says he is.
Doesn't the Bible say something about he always causes us to Triumph.
Hey, man. You know, we hear all of these things about Deliverance Ministry that people are, you know? Well that there's this demonic Force. There's this, there's that. And, and they're always looking to what what what the opposition is and if they're always in a fight and if I go into this area, there's this principality and there's this thing it. So I got to do this. I got to do that. I got to do this. And you're always looking how big the enemy is. And you forget how big your God is and that you already had the victory that he always causes you to try on that. You're more than a conqueror. You, we have to change the way we think, because if we go with them, it's not going to help anybody.
Prince, Albert needs to be a place of victory. It's Mark by prisons. It's Mark by drug addicts. I know. Mrs. Tori said that. That's there's a, there's a phrase and what was it? Mrs. Story Only in Prince Albert. So whenever you see something, you know, should be shocking and and somebody says, it's only in Prince Albert that needs to change, and it starts with preaching, the gospel it starts with sharing the fullness of of, of, of the blessings of the Lord. But also the responsibility that he's calling us too. Because many people, if I want on the street today and I went down to where people are broken and then I started giving them food and water and I did not really loves you. They say I know and that you know God got Jesus died for your sins and he didn't pay for this life. I prayed the prayer, praise God but he's not there Lord. They've taken the blessing and they haven't taken, they haven't taken the responsibility that comes with that. You know what, if you want the blessings of the Lord, you need to take the responsibility that comes along with that and that means making yourself subject to him.
Why? So that you can try them because whatever you're doing on your own Hazard work. Remember I said that to a guy and I was I was talking to him about asking how things are going. So do not very good and I said, oh yeah, he's in order to sleep tonight and of course, you know, there's only so much you can do to help them because I don't like we have a facility, we can just pack people in Legally. And so are, you know, we were talking about the Adam and he said, you know, I've been I believe in God. I've been going to church all my life. I said, oh yeah. and ask him what your she went to and I won't mention where, and when he's like a I think God really You know, God just has forgotten about me. And I said no and he said he said, you know what I've been doing all those things that you know I was I was a part of the church and I'm trying not to give it a specific examples cuz then you'll know what church it was but and I said how is that working out for you? What do you mean? What you say that you've been doing all these things that you're supposed to do, and yet, look at where you're at. And he probably was a little bit offended and they came out of my mouth before I could actually think. And I thought oh boy, only get punched in the face, but I don't really have a face. That's punchable. I guess. So he didn't punch me and, and he's a butt. Do you mean by that? And I said, well, you know, if you're serving this great God who loves you. With all your heart.
And he just kind of got quiet.
How can you be in the situation? You're in?
I said your whatever you're doing isn't working for you need to find a different way. And so we talked a little bit about him, I got to share the gospel with him and I didn't make him say a prayer. We going to stop doing that.
Because the prayer isn't going to save him. His heart being changed will save him. The way that he'd been coming to God, made no difference in his life or in God's. Cuz there was no face attached to it. He wasn't believing the things he asked for when he prayed, he was just saying a prayer. Is it okay to recite a prayer and get people to recited? Sure, if you make it known to them, that are praying to God and not just repeating to you.
Cuz if you're just repeating it for your sake is not doing anything, that's just a, not, you can put in your belt, and, you know, I got 17 people save today and they're exactly where you left them.
Victory is what they need in order to do that. You actually have to present the gospel of victory. So much of our hard as it is compassion. We just want to come alongside them where they're at, and that's wonderful. It says in the Bible says be all things to all men that you might win some, but you can't leave them there. You can't leave them there and say, well, you know, I'm just so sorry that all these bad decisions and put you here. And, you know, if you just trust in Jesus, he's, he's a crutch to get you through life, you have to preach the gospel, they will move their hearts and where they are to where they want to go. A man that has, to be something better than what they have. Cuz why would they want if it's not better? And I don't think we do a very good job of that, myself included. Praise God. Present something to somebody wants member wouldn't When Brad was here. He said there has to be bait on the hook.
You know, some people are phenomenal, fishermen, maybe they can fish without bait, but you know, it doesn't work for me. I'm not a very good fisherman anyway, but there has to be something on the hook to make them want to bite it. Amen. And, you know, that sounds kind of gruesome that were like Jesus compared to Brad did when he was here and it made sense. If the gospel be present, isn't going to change their life. Why would they take it? And if we force them into it, is it really them doing it? Or is it you? It has to be them. Praise God, it has to be them. And, you know, the holy spirit is the one who convinced them of sin righteousness and judgment. The Bible says, right? So we need to let the Holy Spirit, do the work and stop trying to do his work for him to present, the good news of the gospel and let the Holy Ghost work, the rest out. A man, because you know what? We're getting in the way,
We we say we want to make room for God because we have all these preconceived notions and ideas of how everything's going to turn out and I mean I used to do that, go out with people on the streets and it was like, okay we make, we actually fill out a card. This is sad, we fill out a card and we'd say we're going to get 15 people saved. Before we went. And we come back, how many did you get is at 16th and you've read it in there like you were all proud? You got 16 people to say a prayer. And yes, it could have an effect in their life. How many of you prayed a prayer with somebody?
And it's stock. The difference is your heart. The only thing that that prayer will do to somebody who who whose heart is not in it, isn't it? Lets them know how and maybe that's not wrong. But we have our own agenda and those things I had an agenda. I'm going to get 16 people to say a prayer and sometimes you confront them in the mall or whatever it is and that you can tell it's just like awkward. And they're just like, okay well if I say the prayer, right?
Cuz you try and get him from all I would like to exchange information with you here. You know, here's the church never seen one of those people show up.
No one will ever give you your number because they don't want to see you again. Is that really evangelism? Is that the kind of evangelism, we see in the Bible where, you know, they preached and thousands of people came to what message? If you read the first, Holy Ghost message, it wasn't all fluff. There was some serious stuff in there, but yet, their hearts were pricked. So, we need from, and if there's Victory in, Jesus said, if they come to Jesus, maybe everything's not going to turn around, just like that. But it's working. His salvation is working it out for their good because now they belong to Christ and they're being led by the Holy Spirit. We have to present the gospel and I need to do this to that is full of truth of what happens. You know, we we heard a message on on Thursday night. TJ was preaching really about time. The second coming of Jesus. And then it should put an urgency in our heart for evangelism and he played a video. I've Reinhard bonnke years ago in Africa and how millions of people were coming in in six days and I think his leg Legos right there was over three million and the video and he even said that Canadians, I didn't see. I had this thought the one was a million, a million people in 3 days.
What's the statue on? In three days and later on that night, Terry Severson that he was talking about this time where he had got to spend time with Reinhard bonnke, Reinhard bonnke wanted to see an actual Harvest. A physical therapist I guess. And how he said it? Right. Like a combine he'd never been in a combine it. So he came and rode in the combine with Pastor Terry and Aunt, Terry asking this question, he says was in a Million
Yes. How long would it take to get 1.3 million people saved? And then hard bulky stop for just a few seconds. He said three quarters of an hour.
One message of the Gospel.
One Touch from the Holy Spirit.
We, we have to present the gospel that changes lives, if it leaves them, where they're at, it's not a good gospel, it's not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It can be watered down, and it can't be. So. There's no meaning to it either. A man. Praise God. You know what I've been really thinking about the fear of the Lord, and I'm not going to preach this message. But there's something to it that that and really the conclusion that I came to because of 1st, John 4:8 that says, you know, perfect love drives out fear but until you know, Jesus you should be afraid.
You should be afraid of God. When we talk about the love of God and I never looked it up but I bet you any money. The fearing God comes up more than loving God in the Bible.
That men would fear Him. The purpose it says in in in one of the translations in in Ecclesiastes, 3:14 is that men would fear Him. Revelation 14, I believe it is. As I was reading this morning, the angel that there's three Proclamation angels that come in Revelation 1, the first one, preaches, the gospel. And what did he say? Fear God. And give him glory. When we have a proper understanding of the gospel and we present it right? It should cause people to have a fear. It says Don't Fear the one who can take the solar the body, but fear the body. But you're the one that can take your soul, and spirit and punish it for eternity is not what your Bible says. And it's not that we should have that fear. Because if you've been made the righteousness of God, there's no fear a man. If you have fear in your life cuz he's faithful and just to forgive those who confess their sins is not what it says. Let's read that. Praise God. Hallelujah.
Where is that one? John?
911 1st John 1:9, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us, our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we have a fear of death, if we have a fear of all of those things as Believers, how are we supposed to present? The gospel. You're supposed to be made right with him. You should have no fear. The Bible says, we can come boldly Before the Throne. So if you have fear, then you need to repent and get soon out of your life so that you can present the gospel.
Cuz if I, if I get up and I and I'm and I'm just as broken as they are. How is that going to minister to them? They want to see Life whom the son. You know, I came to give you life and life abundantly, there has to be life and what we preach. If we preach it, like, you know, God, just loves you so much, and he really wants to save you. And, you know, if you don't want to give your heart to Jesus, that's fine. Really Passion Zeal in order the things Rocky and I watch this, I forget what it's even called, it's kind of crazy.
What is it called Rocky with or Stephen was like one or not? Steven. Paul was like 100%. 80 Bible continues. Its it's a little bit raunchy. So you don't have to watch it, it's kind of graphic and whatever. But anyway, one thing that I did get out of that movies are the series, was that Paul? The Apostle, Paul, he was sold in this. In this video, are in the series that he was supposed Ellis further for the law. And for all of those things that he went after it with his whole heart. And not that we know, right? He was taking Christians and, and having them put in jail and whatever else, right? And he was standing there when Stephen, that he was so zealous. And it's awesome in the, in the, in the how they portrayed when he wants, he has experience with God. That same Zeal in fact more, he was like crazy. The other way, it was like, everybody's like you can't go, they're going to die. He's like, I don't care. And it wasn't like, this was over the course of thirty years. This was like, instant the same as this deal. That he had to see people come under the law and be subjected to all their rules. He had that same deal for the God, you know what, I don't know about. But both Kevin and and in Rocky But, you know, on Thursday, I felt that Zeal again. Do we have an urgent? There better be an emergency in us, we look around. We talked about how everything's happening in the world and, and, and everything's coming into a line that, you know, the One World Government, the One World money order and all that other stuff. And yeah, we're just still living Our Lives.
Sowing, and reaping.
Doing whatever having parties in the Bible, talk about that.
We need to get serious. We need to invite people to church. You love your kids, invite him to church. Amen. Praise God, I promise, I won't preach a message like this.
I can't promise that. Actually, the only goes does what he wants to. Because we're going to make room for him to speak.
the beauty of the fear, the lord is that, if we have the proper fear of God and the proper reverence It shows. And it's not just religious. I don't come to church on Sunday morning at a religious Duty.
I come because I love God. But without understanding of the fear, and the reverence of God, you don't, you don't you, you can't have proper love for him. The Bible says, even in Revelation that, and then, when everything's going south for the world, and he's gotten somebody say, praise God, but when the whole world is being destroyed, it says that their hearts are still going to be harder than they don't fear God.
That's crazy. They won't recognize. But people still have an opportunity now. I don't want to leave it to this last Angel. Who's going to proclaim the gospel? I don't want to leave it to the two witnesses or the 144,000. I want to be a part of the Harvest and I want to prepare people. I want to be, I want to disciple D. I want to see people grow. In their face. As much as I have a desire to see people commit their lives to Jesus, I want to see them become disciples, who make disciples
I used to just care about souls and, and you know what, I think God had to do some realigning because the Bible says go and make disciples not converts. I want to see us grow to a place that one. Where ask the question? We have an answer. The Bible says, have an answer for the hope that we have, will, if you have no hope if there's no. Hope of Victory in your life. What can you give for an answer?
Let's go. Hallelujah, turned into the fear of the Lord. Anyway, praise God.
So, I can find one thing.
Bible says that God did not appoint us to Wrath.
He's not willing. He doesn't want anybody. He doesn't want your kids, he doesn't want strangers. He doesn't want people that we you know, that one of the things that really Kind of struck me. The TJ said in and he was talking about our prime minister. And you would think that it would be negative. This is how dare you speak against God's Harvest.
I struck my heart. How can we in a? We just give up on people. Yeah, they may be operating in the spirit of antichrist. But does that mean? They're Untouchable? Forgot. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord. We need to be mindful. We talk about whatever we say will have. Let's stop speaking curses over these people and start speaking the life of the life of God into them in saying you know what, God Said workers into the field. It will have the things we ask for if we pray and believe. And you know, we kind of weird saying on the way home, we prayed for we had prayed for his salvation. Also prayed that he been removed and different things and I probably had more faith in him being removed in him. Being able to need to change our hearts. Because we have a heart for people on the street and Prince Albert but we don't have a heart for the are our government leaders. Our mayor city council. We speak bad of them, we speak ill of them and end their part of the Harvest. And I really struck me because you know what, we don't see people the way God sees them. How are you going to present a gospel to somebody that you have no care for that? You don't actually care if they go to hell. If I had an opportunity, James Smith reserve and it approached to do. I don't know if I would have said the right things. What I've been the one that was sent sent into the Harvest and I didn't take the opportunity.
And I goes for my neighbors. You know. That goes for whoever. And so we need to, we need to present this Victory gospel. We have to have the right heart because it won't minister to anybody if our hearts not in the Bible says if we love not right, praise God.
Hallelujah. I feel like I'm rebuking you guys but it's not on purpose.
God wants to do great things here.
But we have to believe in what he's doing. We have to believe in the purpose that work here for the Great Commission. I like oh TJ said it's not the great option.
I don't always know how to share the gospel. I don't know, I don't know the right words to say, but I want to and I thinking wanting to and having a desire God can use God's looking for yielded heart to want to obey him. Linda always encourage me. Like we have a coffee time on Thursday and then we have a Bible study after and You know, sometimes I'm always like when you know, you're sometimes it seems like you're aggressive but it works because your desire is you want them to know and even if maybe I don't think it comes out, right? It seems to minister to them. And that's encouraging, don't stop doing that. We need to do that, you know? Maybe it doesn't come out the way you think it should. God uses. What's in your heart? We release at the Bible says we'll have the things. We, we, we say, we believe we have the right if we release the gospel and it doesn't even seem like it's coming out, right? Maybe it's coming out harsh or maybe it's coming out wrong. You have to trust the holy spirit is able to work through you because he uses imperfect people who love him. He always has a man. So I don't put pressure on you that we have to be the best at presenting. The gospel would be mindful when you're presenting it. That you're not presenting a gospel that leaves people where they're at. I don't believe in that.
if he's The God Who prospers, if he's all sufficient, if he's the God, who loves you, if he's a good father, if he's all of the things, if he's God With Us, Hey, man, if he's Emmanuel and God Is With Us in the Bible says, who can stand against us. And then we have to have that mindset when we're presenting this, good news that it's actually way better than anything they could ever have on their own. And this doesn't have to, we have to get away from the mine said that it's only for the broken in the busted.
It's for everybody, it's for the wealthy, it's for the middle class. It's for the moms. It's for the dads. It's for the kids for the grandpa and Grandma's. We always in Prince, Albert, it seems like we just focus on one area the broken. Yes, he said he came to preach the gospel to the poor, but what about everybody else? They're part of the Harvest. It isn't just for the broken. We have to see that this gospel reaches everybody. Doesn't it? Talk about the people who supplied Jesus needs were people of wealth women of wealth. They were broken people that were following him around because you know he fed them every once in a while. Some Fish and Loaves. Amen. God has a plan to save everybody. How is the wealth of the wicked going to be laid up for the righteous if they don't get saved? Got to stop thinking they will do so they'll just stay lost just a wicked and they'll just hand the money over to the church know. We win them to Jesus.
And then whatever was gained in Wicked, now becomes the righteous because they've been made righteous. Amen. Another note that negate the ones that need need physical help but we have to think that the gospel if it is good seed as we heard last week, it's good seed for everybody. Amen. It has to be otherwise. God's not his words, not true. Hallelujah.
Praise God.
I feel like I just came down heavy but I thought wasn't my intention, the message was supposed to be light and happy and encouraging but I feel like I left, you guys all dry.
That's right.
It's good. I do if I've already heard that, but she was just saying, you know, the, the message that we really had from Brad was the, the beginning of the Holy evangelism classes. If we just draw near to God, he'll join near to us, and it's out of that abundance, right? Paul said, what I have, I give you. So, if you don't have victory in your life, how can you prevent that to somebody else? Hey man, and we talked a few weeks back. When I preached the last time that salvation, that word salvation actually means victory.
Praise God. It means Victory. It means lots of things, but it means Victory. And we have to present the gospel of Victory will never change the world. Amen. Praise God. I think I'm done. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you today. We thank you for your word. We thank you for the truth of your word. We thank you that you're leading and guiding us and directing us father, I pray that that these few words that were spoken today would penetrate our hearts that we would change them the way. We think that as we present your gospel, the gospel of Hope and truth, and life and peace, and joy and victory father, that it would, it would come alive in us as we speak and we would have confidence in the gospel. In the good news of Jesus Christ dying for our sins, on the cross that his blood was shed for us to wash away all of our sin as far as the East is from the West. Father, we thank you that that in all of that, as we present the gospel of being, given a new heart and being made a new creation follow that, we would see the victory then even as it comes out of our mouths, if they would begin to produce victory, Hallelujah there, as we speak to the things in people's lines, we would have the things we ask for that. Is we tell as we tell sick, sick people to be healed, broken people to come alive and be made whole father. Was it as that victory of your gospel and in a promise of Salvation and deliverance and healing with that, it would change it would change the settings in the atmosphere. That melted, the Derby breakthrough that we would see with our eyes, the Miracles. This, this gospel that we present produces Miracles that the Bible says your word says that as they went out the miracles signs and wonders followed them. As they preach the word, father, we thank you today. That that as we go, we're not just carrying a crutch religion. We're carrying the power of God in the gospel, help us see the people that you want us to invite to church, help us to, to have people on our hearts and, and, and take a, take a leap of faith and invite them to come to church. Invite them to, to come to our home, to study the word, father uses.
father, your word says that, you know, you were looking to and fro For whom you may send.
Hallelujah.
Send us. Into the city. With the good news, compel us to tell our neighbors whether they like her or not. In a way that honors you use, use the words that we say out of the abundance of our heart to bring glory to your name. That people would fear God and give him glory. That we would preach from the from from the power of the Holy Spirit rather than our own understanding.
Use this for your glory. In our lives and in the city. Jesus name we pray. Amen. Hallelujah.
