Last week we finished up or Revelation message series The Throne of God

Today we start our message series into the scroll of 7 seals

SLIDE 1 “SCROLL OF 7 SEALS IMAGE”

Amazing what we learned from Revelation chapters 4-5 on the throne of God

Now we will see events take place on earth because of the sovereign direction of God in heaven

Revelation 6:1 (NASB95)

1 Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.”

We know from the previous weeks messages the Lamb only One worthy to open the seals

Now the Apostle John is describing as the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) the first seal is broken and the 4 living beings or creatures say with a voice of thunder “Come”

Very interesting to point out what the 4 living beings have been doing up to this point

We can go back and revisit their description and what they do in heaven up to this point

Revelation 4:6–7 (NASB95)

6 and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.

7 The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”

Also they worshipped and gave God glory as the Lamb was found worthy to open the seals in chapter 5

Everyone remember going to churches that had the stained glass windows, looking at them and kinda wondering about the images in them?

Very interesting all these years I never knew the lamb in this very popular stained glass image was this very scene in Revelation we are in.

Also very noteworthy that the 4 living beings say with a voice of thunder “Come”

We are hopeful another revelation here in Scripture that the church is called home before this event

The Lord using the 4 living creatures before this being used to carry out actions through the church and ministries before this event “Remember in Throne of God series we saw the example with the 4 foundations of the church”

Now the 4 living beings are using a voice of thunder instead of praise and saying the word “Come”

The word for thunder is “bronte” which means lighting then a roar or peals following

And can you thunder with a voice like His?

18 The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind;

The lightnings lit up the world;

The earth trembled and shook.

And Your paths in the mighty waters,

And Your footprints may not be known.

THUNDER

*Associated with the voice of God

*Creative voice of God

*Giving of Law

*Voice out of Heaven

*Voice of Apocalypse

This event also lines up with the 70 Weeks of Daniel” Daniel chapter 9, finishing up the 7 remaining years needed for the 483 already passed in God’s timeline concerning Israel first (then the nations or Gentiles)

Also lining up with Jesus telling of the end time events in Matthew 24

So lets look as the first seal is broken as the 4 living creatures say with a voice of thunder “Come”

Revelation 6:2 (NASB95)

2 I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

SLIDE 12 “WHITE HORSE IMAGE”

In chapter 19 Jesus will be riding on a white horse so this rider not to be confused with our Lord.

In 19 the rider is described as the One Faithful and True

So we here here is probably the Antichrist / or false Christ

We notice in this image slide and Rev 6 verse 2 passage that the rider has a bow but no arrows

This would seem to indicate the Anticrhist conquers the nations peacefully

It seems from all we have read and gathered revelation from so far id after the church is removed the Antichrist will move in to triumph

There will be a false peace temporarily / more than likely uniting Europe and making an agreement with the Jews

We also bring in other Scripture to help gain even more insight

1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

43 “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

So we see this world dictator will begin his career as a peacemaker

He will go from victory to victory and finally control the whole earth

He will solve many of the world’s problems and be received as the great liberator

The Antichrist is wearing a crown in this image but it is not the same crown as the one our Lord wears - this crown is (stephanos) - mark of royal rank / a symbol for a prize
