And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Importance of prayer in the life of the believer in Strenuous times, tough times
What the enemy want is for the church to fold it’s arms and surrender...
Jesus said, “occupy til I come”.
So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’
Military term
Take over a land that is not yours.
You don’t have the legal right but you have the military might to govern where you may not be a citizen of that country or culture.
You are on their ground
You do so from reigning position, not a subservient one.
During the time of Jesus
Israel was a nation but was occupied by the Romans - Caesar had say-so over everything that was going on in Israel.
They allowed them....
Even though Israel had their temple....
Everything was under the watchful eye of Rome.
When they came to crucify Jesus they had to get permission from Pontius Pilate.
They couldn’t just do it because they were under the occupation of the Romans.
Pilate said, don’t you know who I am....

The reason we have such problems in our schools is because the church abdicated....
What we need as Paul expressed
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
When you occupy, you don’t let the enemy do what he wants to. You BIND it UP!
The enemy has the world confused into thinking that it can do whatever it wants in the face of the only institution that God endorsed.
