Faith believes before it sees—Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the realization of what is hoped for, the proof of things not seen.”
We become Christians through faith—Ephesians 2:8–9 “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.”
After salvation we are kept by faith—1 Peter 1:5 “who are being protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time,”
Without faith, we cannot please God—Hebrews 11:6 “Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and is a rewarder of those who seek him.”
Faith comes through God’s Word—Romans 10:17 “Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word about Christ.”
Faith is what drives your bus so to speak, and depending on what is the object and or source of your faith, what it is placed in determines where your bus ends up and the detours it takes on that journey. Faith is a powerful thing, it drives a man motivates a woman,

PROVING FAITH 6-13
PROVING FAITH 6-13
1, 2, 3 John 5. Believe in the Son and Enjoy Eternal Life (5:6–12)
John’s purpose is to demonstrate that there is more than adequate evidence to prove that Jesus is the Son of God who provides eternal life to all who believe in him
O.T. law required 2 witnesses, God gives 3. Heretics at the time said Jesus was man until baptism then he became God until His suffering. John has been writing that Jesus is the God Man because a simple man could not atone for the worlds sin, that the Spirit now in confirms in believers that He is the Son of God
1 John 2:27 “And as for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not have need that anyone teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you reside in him.”

3. The “water and blood” refer to the terminal points in Jesus’ earthly ministry: his baptism (water) and his crucifixion (blood). This is the best interpretation and is followed by most scholars. Historically, Jesus “came” into his power by the “water” of his baptism and even more so by the “blood” of his cross
PRAYING FAITH 14-15
PRAYING FAITH 14-15
we pray in faith because of faith He hears us and answers our prayers
we pray in faith because of faith He hears us and answers our prayers
Faith causes us to look into the future. (1) Enoch saw the Lord’s coming—Jude 14. (2) Abraham saw Christ’s day—John 8:56. (3) Moses saw Christ, who was invisible—Hebrews 11:27. (4) Paul said at the end of his life that there was a crown awaiting him—2 Timothy 4:8, 10–12. Put your faith into action!
