But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
When it comes to producing a crop organically, seed is important. And faith begins with a seed.
Most of us learned about photosynthesis in elementary school science. We are familiar with the basic elements for growth of a living organism.
They include the following:
Seed
Sunlight
Soil
Water
Light
Air
Nutrients
When these are available and properly proportioned they create an environment that makes growth automatic.
Each has a biblical and spiritual parallel that we will explore.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Seed
Seed
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,
But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
Sunlight
Sunlight
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Soil
Soil
And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
Water
Water
Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Air
Air
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’
But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ”
Organic Spiritual Formation
The natural growth that occurs when authentic faith in Christ is merged with intentional alignment to the principles of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, while living with and serving others.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
