Intro:
It is easy to have faith when are aren’t waiting.
1.
Strong Community(v.39-40)
The first thing that Mary does is goes to someone who she can trust.
She goes from having everything going for her as it pertains to a regular Jewish life.
To not knowing what is going on.
She has been shaken up by the good news that she is to be the woman who would birth the messiah.
All of that must have been overwhelming, and instead of just sleeping on it, or keeping it a secret, she goes to family.
Someone she can talk too, and someone who has been in a similar situation.
2. The Spirit gives witnesses (v.41-
Elizabeth

3. Believe what was Spoken
Sometimes, Trusting God is all the confirmation you’re gonna get.
Sometimes you won’t have a Elizabeth to go to, you won’t have a miraculous event, you are just going to have to go with what God said, what God has already began.
Waiting on God to do what he said he would do is the meantime, but he exercise of that faith is when we act on what we say we believe.
faith is acting like God is telling the truth.
