Introduction

David reminds us of the importance of blessing God, because God [to David] was not seasonal. He was a CONSTANT FIXATION.
He reminds us that times don’t always have to be favourable to bless God
He reminds us that God is always able to make a way for us to navigate anything this life sends our way
Regardless of the time, God is still God. [Broke, broken, happy, sad, faith, unbelief. . .God is still God]

My Praise

Ps 34:1-3 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul will make its boast [to speak well of] in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.
Let all who are discouraged, heartbroken, suffering know that God can bring rejoicing. Ps 30:5.
As long as God is in the picture there’s a reason to rejoice
O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.”

My Experience

Ps 34:4-7I sought [to seek with care] the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered [to be secure] me from all my fears.
Fear robs, cripples, immobilizes, but in Jesus you have safety and security
I’m so glad that God doesn’t need to make an assessment of a situation to know if He’s able, He’s just able!!!
They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.”
If the Lord is for you, who can be against you?
David encourages us to see how good God is

My Results

Ps 34:8-10 “O taste [savour, experience, sample] and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge [a place trusted to keep you safe] in Him!
Trust the Lord and watch Him change your taste
O fear the Lord, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want.
There’s no want becasue I realize what I have in God
The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.”
If David is saying all of this,
Is God your God? Are you in a relationship with Him?

This is the only thing that really matters.

John 14:6 NASB95
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
