Galatians 4:4-5, In God’s Time.

Galatians 4:4-5: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. God is always on time.

Galatians 4:4: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. Isaiah 11:1: And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

The pre-existing One took on humanity. Jesus is fully man and fully God--the God-man. Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Philippians 2:6-8: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus came to set us free. Isaiah 61:1: The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

God wants to change people. Galatians 4:5: To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Jesus paid the price. We broke the Law. Jesus kept and fulfilled the Law. Titus 2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The only way we can enter God’s family is by regeneration--born again.

Adoption is possible because of the redemption. God changes people from what they are to what they should be.

Jesus redeemed us from the curse and became a curse for us. Our body is not ours. We were bought with a price. I Corinthians 6:19-20: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
