Not good news for all people everywhere.

“Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.”

Why?
Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and peace on earth to people he favors!
News of peace
We all want peace.
Between friends
Between families
Between ethnic communities
Between nations
When I was a at school
Peace is so important
God cares about peace
Peace with God
Naturally enemies of God
Do not acknowledge
Go own way
Make it up as we go along
God’s righteous anger burns against us
His perfect justice demands a payment
A price we could never pay
His perfect love makes a way
Stepping into human history
Taking on human flesh
Single cell in Mary’s womb
Baby, child, teenager, adult
Perfect life – love, authentic, reliable, not hypocritical
Death – paid the penalty that we deserved to pay
Became an enemy of God in our place
Endured God’s righteous anger
Satisfying God’s perfect justice
Now – peace with God is possible
Jesus saviour we all need – not just Jews, not just Christians
Good news for all people everywhere
Good news “of great joy”
Peace with God
foundation for peace with one another
foundation for everlasting peace from 2nd coming
