Jesus Has Come

Luke 19:9–10 (NKJV)

9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Salvation- deliverance, the state of having been saved- The process of being saved

Seek- to go after to find, to look out

Save- to deliver, rescue, make whole

The Son of Man has come-

Son - Implies both God and Man- Jesus both fully God, fully man.

Fully God- Jesus was God.

Colossians 1:15–17 (NKJV) 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

At Conception- God entered Marys womb by the Holy Spirit and came to dwell with Mankind. The World was changed forever.

Emanuel- God With Us - God was now with us in a physical form. He didnt come to stay and then leave. Even when Jesus went back to be with the Father the holy Spirit had been sent to dwell with us.

Gabriel Luke 1:37 (NKJV) 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Jesus Luke 18:27 (NKJV) 27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

God Is With You- Nothing is impossible with God. you may be facing something that in the natural seems overwhelmig and there seeme to be no way through?

Fully Man- Concieved, developed and born by Mary.

He came as one of us. Experienced all that it was to be a Human being.

Experieced childhood, adulthood. Worked a job. Suffered all the worst you could experience in life. Rejection, disapiontment, betrayal, violence and death itself.

He Understands Your Pain.

Alone- God seems a long way from you.

He is right there with you

Jesus Came Full of Grace and Truth John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

God is Full Of Grace- God Is full of Truth that sets us free
