... we had received the sentence of death ... --- 2 Cor 1:9a

For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. --- Jn 3:16

4 God wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth ... 6 Jesus gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone. --- 1 Tim 2:4, 6

Go into all the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God's good news to one and all. --- Mk 16:15, MSG

We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. --- Jn 9:4, NLT

I. STEP OUT IN FAITH

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations ... --- Mt 28:19a, NLT

A. Out of Our Comfort Zone

For we walk by faith, not by sight. --- 2 Cor 5:7, NASB

"In the Great Commission the Lord has called us to be like Peter — fishers of men. We’ve turned the commission around so that we have become merely keepers of the aquarium. Occasionally I take some fish out of your fishbowl and put them into mine, and you do the same with my bowl. But we’re all tending the same fish.” --- Bishop Sam Shoemaker

B. Faith in Action

14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!" --- Rom 10:14-15

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. --- Lk 19:10, NLT

---

II. REACH OUT IN LOVE

A. God's Love Fuels Our Efforts To Love Others

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: 'love your neighbour as yourself.' There is no greater commandment than these. --- Mk 12:30-31, NKJV

B. Love in Action

Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deeds and in truth. --- 1 Jn 3:18

"I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love." --- Mother Teresa

5 Whenever you enter someone's home, first say, "May God's peace be o this house." 6 If those who live there are peaceful, the blessing will stand; if they are not, the blessing will return to you. 7 Don't move around from home to home. Stay in one place, eating and drinking what they provide. Don't hesitate to accept hospitality because those who work deserve their pay. 8 If you enter a town and it welomes you, eat whever is set before you. 9 Heal the sick, and tell them, "The Kingdom of God is near you now." --- Lk 10:5-9

The keys to reaching out to others:

1. BLESSING (v.5)

2. Consistent FELLOWSHIP (v.7)

3. MEET Needs (v.9a)

4. SHARE the good news of the kingdom (v.9b)

"Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." --- Mother Teresa
