Proverbs 24:16 “For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.”

It would be nice to never fail....to never struggle....to never take steps backward

The main thing though is to get back up

Psalm 37:23-24 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.” (Remember that when you fall the Lord will help you back up! Get back up!)

Micah 7:8 “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.” (When you are in the darkness of sin and failure…lost and not sure how to find your way back home…remember that God is with you. Get back up!)

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Remember that one of the main reasons the enemy keeps attacking you is because he is afraid of the difference you are making. He can’t defeat you unless you allow him to. Don’t lose sight of your purpose. Get back up!

Hebrews 10:36 “For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:” (Don’t miss out on all you have been moving towards! Get back up!)

Romans 5:3-4 “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (No matter what happens or how hard it gets, we should never lose hope. God is working even when we don’t see it. We will come out stronger than ever before if we allow Him to bring us through. Get back up!)

You can get back up, because Jesus got back up!

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.””

Isaiah 40:29-31 “He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

Psalm 145:14 “The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.”

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

Some of you aren’t getting back up because you think it’s too hard.

Some of you aren’t getting back up, because you aren’t sure it’s worth it.

Some of you aren’t getting back up because you think you’ll end up right back where you are.

Some of you aren’t getting back up because you don’t want to.

Some of you aren’t getting back up, because you’ve lost sight of your importance.

GET BACK UP!

What’s the alternative?

Do you want the enemy to win?

Do you want your witness for Jesus to be destroyed and Jesus to be misrepresented by you?

Do you want the people that rely on you and need you to suffer?

Do you think things will get better if you slip back into the old habits?

Do you really want a divorce?

Do you really want the enemy to use you to take out your kids?

Do you really want someone not to see what Jesus has done in your life?

Do you really want to miss out on the promise?

GET BACK UP!

You may be on the ropes…but it doesn’t mean the fight is over.

You may be down, but as long as you have breath…you can get back up!

This is not the day.

This is not the arrow!

This is not how your story ends!
