What do you think are some ways that we can be a sacrifice to God?
Ecclesisastes 5:1-6
In these verses we see that they are called not to be rash in the presence of God.
Do you think that we are in the presence of God here?
Being in the presence of God means that we have to have self control.
That could be respecting authority, that could be watching our mouth when it becomes easy to gossip that could be simply realizing that the bad days aren’t so bad after all.
You know God made everyday, even the bad ones.
Even in the worst days we have to understand that we are still God’s children.
We are still under his authority.
You don’t have to answer this but when has a bad day gotten to you?
When was the last time you allowed your bad day to overflow and spill?
It caused a bad attitude, it caused you to be rash, it caused you to view you co workers as something they are not.
We all have bad days but as we look at Ecclesiastes here we have to understand that we are always under the authority of God.
We always hear the wwjd but what if instead of what would Jesus do we began to think in this way.
What would Jesus think of what im saying?
What would Jesus think about im doing?
What would Jesus think about my attitude?
These verses display our actions and the importance of them.
Would Jesus be pleased with your actions?
Each day we should all leave this place, go home, and be able to say “I have given my all to God today”.
