One thing we’re always thinking about around Christmas time is what things cost. It’s kind of a shame really, because it would be nicer to focus on the gift or even better to completely be focused on the One whom God gave us. But it remains the truth, that the cost of many things is on our mind at Christmas.
So to turn our mind towards the Lord this season, we’ll take a short break and study for just a couple of weeks what Christmas costs.
The Cost of Comfort
Now I don’t pretend to understand if God is more comfortable in Heaven or on earth, but I do understand some things that make me uncomfortable about Jesus coming to this earth.
What did Jesus give up?
the purity of heaven, the praise of Heaven, the brightness of His glory (Heb 1:3, ), His recognition (Phil 2:6-7),
With every purchase you make, when you pay the cost, you receive the item.
