Illustration of allowing Jesus into our entire home?
Paul was born about the time of Christ’s birth in Tarus, an important city in the Roman province of Cilicia, located in Asia Minor. He was also a Roman citizen. Paul wrote Romans from Corinth most likely in A.D. 56. More than any other individual, Paul was responsible for the spread of Christianity throughout the Roman Empire. Paul is a perfect example of the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:1–2 NKJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Prayer you may be seated
Oswald Chambers said:
The counterfeit of obedience is a state of mind in which you create your own opportunities to sacrifice yourself, and your zeal and enthusiasm are mistaken for discernment. It is easier to sacrifice yourself than to fulfill your spiritual destiny, which is stated in Romans 12:1-2.
