His Love is Unconditional

Behold our King
Notice our King, as we prepare ourselves to celebrate Christmas pray for a fresh revelation of your king.
He is the king who loves us
Paul in his brilliant presentation of the word love ( Agape) in Greek, shows us the unconditional love of God, All of Paul’s original writings were in koine Greek.
Let’s pray
1Co 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God's love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction].
1Co 13:2 And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing.
1Co 13:3 If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all.
1Co 13:4 Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
1Co 13:5 It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.
1Co 13:6 It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].
1Co 13:7 Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
1Co 13:8 Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.
1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].
1Co 13:10 But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
1Co 13:12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].
1Co 13:13 And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God's love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.
His love is unconditional

1 He loved us, while we still sinners.

There is no one in this entire world who knows you better than your heavenly Father and still loves you.
Psa 139:1 For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
You have searched me, LORD, and you know me.
Psa 139:2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Psa 139:3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Psa 139:4 Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.
I always thank my mother, for her many prayers, our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus for my salvation, I didn’t deserve it, there is no doubts in my mind about that. I am a undeserving sinner saved by grace.
I was not a good son, even though I gave my heart to Jesus when I was six years old, I became a rebellious teenager by the time I was twelve, by the time I was 15 I was suicidal, not depressed thinking about ending my life but getting involved in everything dangerous I could, swimming during storms, climbing when was windy, doing thoughtless things, I loved the adrenaline rush. I was a good athlete, I played soccer, volleyball, water polo, made me feel indestructible. Unfortunately there are consequences to a life of selfishness and sin, I was immoral, hanging out with the wrong crowd, I had no peace or joy in my heart, never felt love by anyone accept my mother, but it was her job, I thought.
Around 18 I would come home sometimes in the early hours of the morning around 4 sometimes 5, after being out all night doing no good, I would open the door, carefully to not make any noise, but to walk to my room I had to pass my parents’ bedroom door, and there was my mother on her knees by her side of the bed praying for me, she would get up and offer me breakfast. I was too selfish to think she would not worry about where I was, until I came home.
Maybe was not what I deserved, but it was very convicting and eventually led me to Jesus, His love and kindness led me to repentance.
He knew me and loved me.
Our Heavenly Father knows us well and still loved us, and sent Jesus to take our place at the cross
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
When you were in your mother’s womb he knew you, He was forming you.
The apostle John confidently wrote about the disciple Jesus loved, 5 or 6 times, referring to himself, sending us a message that we can have the same relationship with Jesus, that loves us all.
Joh 13:23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.
Jesus said that Love is the most important commandment
Mar 12:28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"
Mar 12:29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Mar 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'
Mar 12:31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

2 His unconditional love does not depend on how we preform

Jesus and Zacchaeus
Luk 19:1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
Luk 19:2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.
One of the most despised people at the time were tax collector, traitors working for the Romans, his name Zacchaeus means pure water, and I’m certain no one called him pure water.
Luk 19:3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd.
Luk 19:4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
Luk 19:5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today."
Zacchaeus pure water, come down, Jesus loved him call him by name
Luk 19:6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
Luk 19:7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a sinner."
Luk 19:8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."
Luk 19:9 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.
,
Luk 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
He is calling your name too, to meet with Him today.

3 His unconditional love is not condemning

The woman caught in adultery
Joh 8:1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
Joh 8:2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.
Joh 8:3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
Joh 8:4 and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
Joh 8:5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
Joh 8:6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
Joh 8:7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."
Joh 8:8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
Joh 8:9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
Joh 8:10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
Joh 8:11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
She was Covered in shame and facing death, Jesus declared "Go now and leave your life of sin."
Behold our King, a loving King
His love is unconditional
1 He loved us while we still sinners
2 Doesn’t depend on our performance
3 Is not condemning
As we behold our King, make Him the Lord of your life.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Joh 3:16 To receive Jesus we need to accept Him as God’s son,
we need to repent from our sins and a life of selfishness,
ask Him to be your Lord and savior, not that we deserve it, but is a gift from God.
If this is your desire today, please repeat this prayer after me? Heavenly Father I’m sinner, I’m sorry for my sins, I’m willing to turn away from my sins. I receive Christ as my savior, I confess Him as Lord And from this moment on, I want to follow and serve Him, in the fellowship of His church, In Jesus name, Amen!
1Co 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:25 In the same manner Healso took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
1Co 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Heb 9:14 dead works, acts, sins
E mau aku ka loko maika’i o ka Haku, Iesu Kristo; me ke aloha a ke Akua, a me ka launa pu ‘ana mai o ka Uhane Hemolele ia ‘olua, a me makou apau. Amene.
