Introduction:

one of the few problem today is that many people claim to be Christian. the hardest thing is that how many of them actually follow the word’s of God. even during the time of the Apostles. The Apostles had to deal with people who did not fully understand. let’s turn in our Bible Romans 10:1-5
Romans 10:1–5 NKJV
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.”
the first thing that Paul mentions in his letter to the Roman Church is that he notice their Zeal.
We also see that Paul notices a problem also, the problem is not that they have zeal for God, but that they do not have the knowledge because of their ignorance, seeking to establish their own righteousness.
today we still face this problem today we have many people who claim to be Christians but lack the knowledge of God.
This was not just a problem that the Apostles had to deal with. even the prophets of the old testament had to deal with this issue also. lets go head turn in our Bible to Hosea 4:4-6
Hosea 4:4–7 NKJV
“Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest. Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. “The more they increased, The more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.
