God is a God of peace - Rom. 16:20 “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”
Christ is the Lord of peace who gives peace 2 Thess. 3:16 “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
The gospel is a gospel of peace Eph. 6:15 “and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
The mindset of the Spirit is life and peace Rom. 8:6 “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”
My Peace is an eschatological reward Rom. 2:10 “but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.”
Peace is equivalent to salvation and describes relation to God Rom. 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”
The kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit Rom.14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,”
Peace is the goal for human relations Rom. 14:19 “Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”
Peace is the foundation for problem solving 1 Cor. 7:15 “But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.”
The fruit of the Spirit is peace Gal. 5:17 “For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.”
Peace guards our hearts (Phil. 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” and rules in them (Col. 3:15 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
Shalom is not just Peace from conflict or warring it’s a lifestyle and practice and found in the God of Peace that is how we can find peace in our time. And so too the world if it would yield to the Prince of peace
