HOMOSEXUALISM (2)

Leviticus 20:13 KJV (WS)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

This text is very practical for us today. for it focuses on the sin of homosexuality which is a great problem in our land and world today.

God is not for homosexuality.

He condemns it.

The world may legalize it and insist it be respected but that does not change God’s declared attitude about it. It only further condemns the world.

FIRST—THE CONDUCT OF HOMOSEXUALISM

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a women.” One would like to pull the shades on this verse because it speaks of such vile conduct.

But this conduct is spoken about so often in public today, that our verse needs to be addressed forthrightly and frequently.

We are getting all our information on homos from TV and Hollywood which means we are not getting the truth. They glorify the vile and advocate the filthy.

TV and Hollywood are tools of Satan and speak his line most of the time.

We need to hear what God has to say in the Bible about homos.

That will speak the truth and give us proper perspective about this vile conduct.

SECOND—THE CHARACTER OF HOMOSEXUALISM

“An abomination.”

God’s Word characterizes homosexualism as an “abomination.”

That is not a compliment! It is a strong condemnation, yet mankind continues to seek this sin and justify it by calling it nice names, such as, “alternative lifestyle.”

The world is always giving nice names to dirty deeds.

But the names do not speak the character of the sin and only deceive mankind.

When God calls something an “abomination,” we had better come up with a similar meaning name or we are in gross trouble.

Scripture gives illustration of the character of homosexuals and it says they are cruel and corrupt.

History exposes them as some of the biggest hypocrites of society.

Once they get their foot in the door through the emphasis on equal rights, they know nothing of equal rights.

They will give a short shift to any who disagree with them. Homos are bad people and do very bad things.

Not only does the Bible expose them as evil, but so does history and experience.

THIRD—THE CURSE ON HOMOSEXUALISM

“They shall surely be put to death.”

Many people will get very upset over this curse decreed by the Bible for homosexualism.

They will complain that the punishment is unloving and unkind and cruel.

But it is not cruel or unkind or unloving.

What is cruel and unkind and unloving is to let homos live. Just look at the curse of AIDS.

Because we have not punished homos properly, AIDS has killed many innocent people.

Now who is cruel?

Those who decree the death penalty for evil people who spread a killer by their conduct, or those who let the innocent die?

There are some people who are evil enough to deceive us and hide this fact about homosexualism.
