True Story Of Christmas -2022
True Story Of Christmas -2022
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
Introduction
Introduction
Have you ever thought about all the people who played a part in the first Christmas! Did they really know what was going on? Did the angels who announced the birth of Christ even begin to fathom what was going to take place that night!
Did the sheperds who ran to the stable in response to what the angels proclaimed realize how appropriated it was for them to bow before this baby
Did Mary who had given birth to this baby and held him in her arms know just what had happened that night?
19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.
In the book of Luke the bible tells us that Mary pondered all these things in her heart!
But did she get it? Did she understand who she was holding in her arms!
How was she able to handle it?
So here is what happened - The one who made the WORLD entered the world in PERSON
The one who created the world became a human being!
God had become a man - a baby boy!
That's the real story
This is the Good News!
Everybody ought to hear this news at least once in their life
This Is The Truth
Here is the deal
There is debate whether Jesus was Born on December 25
There is concern that Christians are celebrating a pagan holiday
Whether we got the date right or we copied some aspect of another worldly celebration
Here is what we celebrate -
6 While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for Mary to have the baby,
7 and she gave birth to her first son. Because there were no rooms left in the inn, she wrapped the baby with pieces of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough.
We celebrate what happened!
Our Saviour Was Born
The eternal Came To Earth
The One That is preexistent
The one that is coexistent
The One that is Self-existent
The Creator of all things broke into this earth realm as a baby!
Because of that we celebrate The Life that we have today is in him
4 In him there was life, and that life was the light of all people.
5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.
Because of him - we live today! Because of him we- have been brought out of the darkness into the marvelous light!
Because of Him - we have eternal life!
The Songs says Because He Lives
I can face tomorrow
Because he lives
all fear is gone
Because I know he holds the future
and life is worth living
Just because he lives
We celebrate the birth of God’s only begotten Son
We celebrate the one who was born to love us - when we couldn’t love our selves
We celebrate the one who was born to heal us
The one who was born to forgive us
The one who was born to ultimately die for us
We celebrate today, Because He lives
Jesus Is The Light Of The World
Jesus Is The Light Of The World
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
This world is full of darkness—
there is the darkness of sin
The darkness of despair,
The darkness of sickness
The darkness of corruption
The darkness of death
There is darkness that appearing all over this world
But we celerate the one who brings light into this world
We celebrate the one who brings hope in this world
We celebrate the one who brings joy into this world
We celebrate the one who brings peace into this world
There is hope in Jesus Christ
Jesus is the true Light,
Jesus is the light that cancels out the darkness in my life and your life
He cancels out the darkness that looms over this world
So we celebrate the baby
We celebrate the baby that was born in a stable
We celebrate the baby that was laid in a manger
We celebrate the baby who came into this life being rejected
Jesus was born in a smelly stable. He was neglected and turned away by men from the very beginning. There was no room in the inn and Mary was about to deliver. If someone had cared, room could have been made for her.
Jesus was born in poverty. If Joseph had possessed the money, he could have bought a room.
Jesus was born in obscurity and loneliness. The birth took place away from people, all alone.
Mary herself wrapped the child in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger.
There was no Mid Wife
Jesus was born in humiliation. He did not enter the world...
• in a hospital,
• in a comfortable home,
• in the home of a friend or relative,
• under a doctor's care,
• under the stars of heaven, nor even out in the open,
• but in the lowest imaginable place for a birth.
Jesus was born into a corruptible world full of sin and selfishness, greed and unkindness.
We celebrate a baby who was born - not with a silver spoon, but in a place of lack, a place of challenge
Thats why the scripture in
15 We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin.
He started his life born into a corruptible world full of sin and selfishness, greed and unkindness
So he knows what you and I go through!
We celebrate this baby boy who was so rejected by the world, yet he still loved
10 He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him.
11 He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.
Mary did You know that your baby boy would save sons and daughters
Mary did you know?
Ya’ll don't miss this
Here is the question
Do you know that we celebrate the baby boy that has come to make us new
Do you know today we celebrate the child that has come to deliver you!
I love the part of the song that says
Mary Did You Know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod
Mary did you know that when you kiss your little baby - You kiss the face of God
So today we celebrate!
Today we celebrate
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
So Turn your bibles to Luke 2:1-18
1 And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.
2 This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria.
3 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child.
6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.
10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”
16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.
17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child.
18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.
20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
Today take time to Glorify and Praise God for all the things he has done!
That’s the True Story Of Christmas
God Bless You and keep you is my prayer
