John 1:1 NIV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Before Jesus was born, there was the VOICE of God.

The VOICE is the part of God that talks, acts and CREATES.

Psalm 33:6 NIV

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.

John 1:3 NIV

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

As God’s VOICE, God created EVERYTHING there is.

Colossians 1:16 NIV

The Journey of Jesus

John 3:16–17 NIV

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The Father SENT Jesus to Earth, and Jesus OBEYED.

John 1:14 NIV

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Jesus gave up his COMFORTABLE place in Heaven to be WITH US.

He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

Jesus came to be WITH US so he could make us God’s CHILDREN again.

Like Jesus, we are SENT here by God for a REASON.

Like Jesus, we are SENT to HELP others.

John 13:13–17 NIV

“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

To be like Jesus, we have to HELP others, even when it’s HARD.
