Intro

Today is Christmas Day. and Everything has Changed. Hallelujah
What once looked impossible is suddenly possible.
Luke 1:34–37 ESV
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Christmas Changes everything for a barren world.
that which was inconceivable had been conceived in the mind of God for eternity.
For unto us a child has been born, a Son has been given.
Because of that Gift. Because of Emanuel:
Everything has changed.
The Sin no longer Reigns, Today is Christmas Day
The Venom of Sin has been nullified. no longer can it wield it sword and separate you from God. It power has been taken The Son has come. The the King Has Risen. If you and I give our lives to Christ . Sin can no longer separate us from God.
Romans 8:38–39 ESV
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For Today is Christmas Day! Praise The Lord!
The Enemy has Lost! Today is Christmas day!
The tyranny of the Enemy has ended. A redeemer has risen. A rescuer has stepped on the scene. Fear no one anymore.
The Prince of the world has been soundly defeated. My friends. It is Finished!
John 19:30 ESV
When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Mt Friends, the Enemy is Defeated. Today is Christmas Day.
Do not Fear Tomorrow, Today is Christmas Day
The Hours that seem to slip, the days, the weeks, that fall through our hands. Do not fear the loss of them, for the king of Glory holds your future. Eternity with Jesus awaits you and I. There is nothing to fear.
Philippians 4:6–7 ESV
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Do Not Fear! Jesus is Alive! For Today is Christmas Day
Now I am not advocating for feel good mindless head in the sand, Christmas is here everything is OK for December Christianity.
No I am saying. The Enemy is defeated, Sin has lost, and there is no need to fear tomorrow because the Messiah came 2000 years ago. He he lived He died, and now Lives Evermore
Revelation 1:17–18 ESV
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.
We can rejoice this day, because Jesus is Alive! Today is Christmas Day Rejoice!

We are about to sing the first noel and light our candles. As you look at this candle that you hold:
Reflect on that first Christmas, and on the Love that was laid in the manger that day.
Then reflect on the light that Christ brought not only into into your life but into the world as a whole.
