Logos Dabar - The Word Of God - Became flesh - John 1:1-5 “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

We must realize The Gift is living in us and He has established us to be lights just as He was, in the world!

Remember when we preached a message from John 5, and Jesus distinctively stated that John 5:38-40 “38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.”

The Word is The Gift, and when we do not know of it, then we are subjected to surrender to the pains, worries, dejection, frustrations, etc. . . of life!

This season, is one of the most depressed times for many - primarily because so many are focused on gifts, but not The Gift!

The woman at the well was depressed, focused more on the drawing of the water and not allowing her eyes to be opened to the fact that she had life! Regardless of what you may think is the worst, as long as you wake up every day, there remains a rest in knowing Genesis 8:22 “22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”” If I just keep on believing and trusting, The Gift will manifest!
