The Gift

The Best Gift Anyone has ever given

Scripture teaches that God is a generous God (James 1:17)

The best gift God gave is Jesus Christ (John 3:16; 2 Cor 8:9): He bore my sin, he bore my shame. Perfect freedom. Perfect love.

Why would he give this gift to me? Because he loves me.

How can I have it?

Take out your hands and grab it. Believe, have faith, trust.

I can’t accept this gift, because if I do it will change me

Jesus says, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me....” (Matt 16:24-28)
