Christ is Here!
For thousands of years the world was stuck.
Stuck in sin.
Stuck waiting for someone to come and fix our deepest problem.
We needed hope, but hope was small.
We needed peace, but peace did not last.
We needed joy, but joy was fleeting.
We needed love, but the truest love did not appear.
But now the solution to our deepest problems has come!
Jesus, the Christ, the anointed one, the Saviour of the world came in the form of a baby.
He would grow up to be our saviour.
He lived a perfect life and died a death he didn’t deserve to pay for our sins.
So this Christmas, celebrate with us that God so loved the world, that he sent his one and only son, that whoever believes in him, would not perish, but have eternal life.
Amen.
