Christmas The Other Twist

Christmas, the other twist is about the real reason for the season.

Ec 3:1 ¶ To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Christmas Season! Ec 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Jesus Christ was born.

Jesus Christ was born to die.

Jesus Christ was planted here on eart.

he was plucked up from the earth.

Ec 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

Jesus was killed by the world.

He came to break down the kingdom Satan, and to break down man’s religious traditions. came to build up a trust and faith in the Gospel.

Ec 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Jesus wept, laugh, mourned and dance (rejoiced when He found unwavering faith!

If you are a born again Christian and have repented of all your sins, you became a new creature (or creation). Through the Birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ God’s only begotten Son.

The day you were born in the family of God that’s your Christmas (The real reason for the season).

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes, we celebrate Jesus Christ with the true meaning (gift given) God gave His Son to a world that died, (Jesus Christ God’s gift) yes, Christmas has been commercialized, however that’s for another time. We are thankful to God our Father for His gift to humankind, His Son, Jesus Christ. “Happy birthday Jesus”.
