Mary, Mother of God Year ABC 2023
The Aaronic blessing came to us through God's Son being born among us and the Spirit's making us children of God, completing the circle of love. But outwardly Mary and Joseph were a normal humble family with - especially in the case of Mary - an inner secret they turned over in private. . Thus Mary as our mother, since we are siblings of Jesus through the Spirit, can enable us to carry out our callings with humility, faith, trust, and faithfulness, filling the mother-hole that many of us have.
