3 Earthly Minerals

Gold---metal prized for its malleability.

Gold is to be separated by refining.

Gold can be found everywhere “universal”

Gold is Refined by Heat--

Silver---Silver is the best reflector of visible light; Silver mirrors have to have a Protective coating to prevent it from tarnishing.

Jeremiah 6:30 “Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the Lord hath rejected them.”

Isa.1:22 “Thy silver is become dross, Thy wine mixed with water:”

Matt.5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Brass---A Mixed of copper and tin called bronze. This is associated with sin. It has reference to hardness or persistence in sin in view-

Isa.48:4 “Because I knew that thou art obstinate, And thy neck is an iron sinew, And thy brow brass;”

All the Material came from the Earth

All was Essential for the makeup of the Church

They were diverse in value but equal in Importance---Each had its essential role

They ALL had to be taken out of the earth

They ALL together made up the church. No single element could constitute the entire church.
