Arise and Shine

Word of the Lord 2023

Happy New year!

As we were closing 2022 praying for 2023

The Lord remind me of this passage, In Isaiah 60, the first time he gave me this word was while I was in Switzerland, than He gave me the same word for Mokuaikaua shortly after I began my time here at the church.

As I was praying just a few weeks ago, praying for 2023, the Lord gave me the same passage again. A powerful word about His Glory, People coming into our light, His Restoration and provision.

If we pay attention only to the news, will be impossible to believe that 2023 will be a good year, we can see all the dark clouds around us, so is very important that we listen to the word of the Lord.

I’m also going to ask you, that you bring out the words God are sharing with you personally, trust on what your Heavenly Father is giving you .

As I share this passage with you, I ask for your evaluation and discernment , the Holy Spirit is upon us, and He will confirm what is from him and reject what is not from Him.

Isa 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

Isa 60:2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

Isa 60:3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Isa 60:4 "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip.

Isa 60:5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

Isa 60:6 Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.

Isa 60:7 All Kedar's flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.

Isa 60:8 "Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests?

Isa 60:9 Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.

Isa 60:10 "Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.

Isa 60:11 Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations— their kings led in triumphal procession.

This prophecy is for Israel

This prophecy it was written for Israel around 740 years Before Jesus, it was not written for Mokuaikaua.

Yet God has spoken to us, through many passages in the Bible that it was not written directly to us, but when the Lord speaks to us it becomes our reality, the word of the Lord to us.

I know The Lord has spoken to me different times through the word He gave Joshua in Joshua 1:9

Jos 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

When the Lord gave it to me it became my word from the Lord

As I obeyed a specific thing the Lord asked me to do.

I believe the Lord our God is calling us to do 3 things In 2023.

1 Take your rightful place

Isa 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

The Lord is asking us to arise, to get up from where we are, to take our place in Him, and shine

How do we do that?

Take your rightful place and shine, Jesus is the light, yielded to Him

And let the glory of the Lord rises upon you, the manifest presence of the Lord is upon you.

Is all about the manifestation of the glory of the Lord.

In history when the glory of the Lord is manifested there was a revival, miracles, signs and wonders took place.

God wants to show His presence through you and me, if we yield to Him.

When God shows up there is healing , revelation, transformation.

Isa 60:2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

The scholars believe that this prophecy is for the beginning of the millennium, after the tribulation when the Lord returns.

During the Tribulation, will be a period of great darkness

Even if it is dark everywhere when the Lord rises upon you His glory appears over you.

When the Lord shines upon you, the circumstances around you have no power to hold you down.

I have seen friends being blessed in the middle of very difficult circumstances, everyone around could only recognize the hand of God.

2 Nations will come to your light

Isa 60:3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Isa 60:4 "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip.

Isa 60:5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

Isa 60:6 Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.

Our Heavenly Father will bring people from afar, I believe the Lord will increase us in numbers here at Mokuaikaua. More we aloud Jesus to shine through us more people will be attracted to us and Mokuaikaua, the place you worship.

People will fear God because of his goodness when people see the hand of God over an individual over you they worship God.

Peter experience this with Jesus

Luk 5:3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

Luk 5:4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."

Luk 5:5 Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."

Luk 5:6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.

Luk 5:7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

Luk 5:8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!"

Luk 5:9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,

Luk 5:10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will fish for people."

Luk 5:11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

Peter’s boat almost sunk, Peter dropped to his knees because of God’s goodness.

Pray for the impossible things, invite the supernatural let people be drawn by the presence of God in you.

The prince of peace is the focus

3 Wealth, He will provide for us all that we need.

God will honor Israel, you shall see and be radiant

Our God will honor Mokuaikaua

The abundance of the sea of the nations, the Lord has blessed us here at Mokuaikaua, I have only be here for the past 11 years but God has honor and blessed Mokuaikaua for 202 years, just in the past 3 years I have seen the Lord provide over 5 million dollars in between construction and our operational budget, there is no doubt in my mind and heart that his hand is over us, His faithfulness has sustained our ministry and our building together.

One of the visions I had when I came to Mokuaikaua was about this beautiful gate in 2011 was looking into the ocean and I saw a beautiful gate with flowers adorning it, and I asked the Lord what was that and He began to speak to me, about He opening the gate, that was a time when the gate was closed but He opened not only to bless Hawaii but also the nations of the world.

God opened the gate and brought the Gospel to the people of Hawaii.

I am sorry but I am a simple man, I need these images to understand what is happening in the spiritual world.

Hawaii is a spiritual gateway, many people around the world have been blessed by the ministries here in Hawaii. Hundreds of thousands of missionaries have been sent from Hawaii into the Nations of the world and I’m not talking about any of the cults, I’m referring only to bible believing evangelicals who walk with Jesus.

Mokuaikaua is where it is, as a light house to the world, we are here to pray blessings over the Hawaiian Islands and the world. We are here to destroy the works of the enemy, to bless all who comes, we are a place of worship and praise.

We will see Blessings beyond our expectation. We have not seen even the beginning of what the Lord wants to do through us.

I believe today he wants to encourage you to take your place, and let the Lord shine through you, this will attract others, people around the world the Lord is calling, and He will provide and bless us with everything we need.

make Jesus the Lord of our lives.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Joh 3:16

To receive Jesus, we need to accept Him as God’s son, repent from our sins and a life of selfishness, asking Him to be your savior and Lord, not that you deserve it, but is a gift from God.

Heavenly Father I’m sinner,

I’m sorry for my sins,

I’m willing to turn away from my sins.

I receive Christ as my savior,

I confess him as Lord

from this moment on I want to follow and serve him,

in the fellowship of his church,

In Jesus name. Amen!

1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

1Co 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

1Co 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
