The beginning of a life is like a blank book filled with empty pages. Everything that will happen in a child’s life lies in front of them, the possibilities and opportunities are seemingly endless. The question then is what will those pages entail? What choices will they make and what circumstances will they find themselves in?
This week we have the joy of baptising little Hudson Morine. Hudson has his entire life ahead of him but we too, as we walk this earth, are also not at our natural ends. We too still have the future in front of us. This week through the words of Psalm 138, we consider a lesson in life from a King. It’s a lesson Hudson will need to hear many times and a lesson we all can and should learn from.
