----Revelation For 2023-----

The Christmas Story- is about people who have an encounter with God that dramatically changes their lives because they had a divine revelation of who baby Jesus is.

Baby Jesus- many people including some christians see Jesus with a baby like hes a baby.

Divine Revelation- Mary, Joseph, Sheperds, Wisemen, Elizabeth

He Chose Them- John 15:16 (NIV)16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Peters Divine Revelation- Matthew 16:15–17 (NASB95) 15 He *said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Reveal- to make known or show something secret or hidden

Peter was ignorant Until it was reavealed to him by the father-

pater- parent

Children Think They Know- Parents Teach children What They Dont Know

Toddlers- spit the dummy. - Teenagers think they Know More- 18-30 Do Their Own Thing

Peter Still Needed More Revelation- Jesus crucifixtion exposed in Peter a limit to his understanding of who Jesus was.

But Wait There is More- there is so mucch more for us to understand about Jesus. We need ungoing revelation

Revelation/Vision- Communication from God - sight, vision, dream

-Communication from God that effects what you think and how you see the future

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV 1900) 18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Proverbs 29:18 (NIV) 18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.

Proverbs 29:18 The Message- 18 If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

Cast Off Restraint- take the lead- leave boundries to become out of control- to become like a mob without control- Go backwards

2023- A Deeper Revelation of Who Jesus Is- For Your 2023

Acts 2:17–18 (NKJV) 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

Signifigant Revelations From The Father Through The Holy Spirit-

1Cor.2:9 -10 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10.But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 

Illustration- Australian Prophet 25years ago, vision in Auckland, “…You think God has left you and gone on holiday......” 3-4 couples who will gather around you and your wife to protect, support you in Gods plan...” “.......?????.....”

Humble-Submit- Cleanse through Confession- God Draws - Near

James 4:7–10 (NKJV) 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
