INTRODUCTION

23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

2094Remember Jesus till you feel that he is with you, till his joy gets into your soul, and your joy is full. Remember him till you begin to forget yourself, your temptations, and your cares. Remember him till you begin to think of the time when he will remember you and come in his glory for you. Remember him till you begin to be like him.—54.320
Charles Spurgeon
Prayer
Remember that prayer is your best means of study.
Charles Spurgeon
The chief rule of prayer is to remember who God is and to remember who you are. If we remember those two things our prayers will always and ever be marked by adoration and confession.
R. C. Sproul
Resolve
The word resolve in 2 thes. 1 means good pleasure, pleasing. Something you find satisfaction in, that you approve.
Resolution: a firm decision to do or not to do something.
The only way to succeed at a resolution, a new solution to a current problem, is to assess it. To remember.
Remember your ultimate purpose, and when you set yourself to your day’s work or approach any activity in the world, let HOLINESS TO THE LORD be written upon your hearts in all that you do.
Richard Baxter

11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 17:17

17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
