Is this brick like our worship? Do we have a handle on it, but is it ultimately useless? Introduce FCF
Jesus enters the temple with all of the pomp of a King, yet He doesn’t do what His people expect Him to do. He doesn’t reign over the temple, or dwell in it. He exposes it and removes its significance.
Eventually he will remove this temple brick by brick, but now he casts judgement on it. Introduce proposition
