In today's passage we find the rising of more tension between Jesus and the confused religious leaders trying to make sense of who Jesus is and what to do with Him? In his response we see that He is the fulfillment of their greatest prophecies and their greatest hopes. He has come to redeem, rule and reign, for the Son of Man He is both the righteous branch of David and the Lord of the Sabbath.
