What are going to be your priorities for the new year?

Why do you think God created everything?

Romans 1:20 ESV
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

How is God’s Eternal Power and Divine Nature displayed through creation?

Colossians 1:15–17 ESV
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

God has a purpose for everything

God is glorified in His creation

And it all points to Him

Observe the Glory of God’s Creation

We step outside, see the sun that lights up our planet and keeps us warm, we breath in the oxygen that the plants we step on on a daily basis produce. We see all of these beautiful colors with these eyes that are more complex than any camera, and process the information received with your brain that is more complex than any super computer. God shows his power by creating things billions of times the size of mount Everest and billions of times smaller than a snow flake. Not only did He create it, but he sustains all of it. So much to the point that if He were to take a break for a millisecond. All time, space, and matter as we know it would collapse. Reality as we know it would cease to exist.
And we take it as nothing. All of it for granted.
This is something that we don’t focus on much in the Christian life, but when we take a serious look, we can see the purpose of God through His creation and how He is glorified.
