Why Can I Believe In God?

I. The evidence of the universe: The universe requires a creator.

      • A. Its vastness. (Heb.11:1-3).
      • B. Its design. (Ps. 19:1-4; Rom. 1:18-20; Job 12:7-9).
      • C. Its harmony. (Genesis 1=" good ").

II. The evidence of human life: human life requires a designer.

      • A. Human body. (Ps. 139:13-14).
      • B. Human intuition. (Acts 17:22-23; Gen. 1:27; Eccl. 3:11).
      • C. Moral nature of humans. (Rom. 2:14-15; 1:21, 25, 28ff).

III. The evidence of the Bible: The Bible requires a revealer.

      • A. Its testimony. (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 33:6-9; Isa. 45:11-12, 18).
      • B. Its consistency.

IV. The evidence of history: History requires a sovereign Lord.

      • A. God's sovereignty. (Acts 14:15-17).
      • B. God's intervention. (Ex. 34:10; Book of Ezekiel; Jn. 1:1-4, 14ff).

V. The evidence of changed lives: changed lives require a redeemer. (John 3:16). God wants us to check Him out.(Ps.34:8).
