Our destiny will go in the direction of our confession.
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
God is able
The Word of God never returns void. (Isaiah 55:11 “so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”)
Mark 11:22 “And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”
All things are possible to those who believe. Luke 1:37 “For nothing will be impossible with God.””
Consider the character and competence of the one making the promise.
How do we believe? Hearing and hearing the Word.
File thoughts as truth or trash.
Destiny like yours you can’t afford to be wasting your time on anything but God thoughts.
Mark 11:23 “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.”
whoever says to this mountain - speak to it, not speak about it.
Does not doubt in his heart
placebo and notebook effect
Believes what He says, it will be done for him
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Think God thoughts. God sized thoughts.
Find ways to worry or find ways to walk in faith.
Mark 11:25 “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.””
Hebrews 12:14-15 “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;”
Understand what forgiveness is. It is not trust.
Give yourself permission to feel the pain -
Extend mercy - blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.
Decide not to discuss it with others -
Pray for your offender - Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” 1 Peter 3:9 “Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.”
