New Start

Review

So it’s been a few weeks since we’ve met, I hope you guys all had a great Christmas and New Year! I hope that Santa brought you everything you wanted and you ate all the Christmas cookies, drank all the non-alcoholic egg nog, and you had fun being exhausted on New Year’s Day cuz you stayed up to watch the ball drop.

So does anybody remember what we learned about last time we met? Pastor Eric taught us the first week in the book of Micah. Pastor Eric talked about how Micah, an Old Testament prophet to Judah, the Southern Kingdom of the Israelites. Pastor Eric talked about how Micah called out some of the other prophets and powerful people in Judah for doing evil, taking bribes, taking advantage of others, and being awful examples for God.

So for this week, we’re continuing in the book of Micah. Last week was a bit of a downer message because it was a judgement of evil. Today’s lesson will be a little bit happier though.
