1. Jesus got in Peter’s business before He got in Peter.
1. Jesus got in Peter’s business before He got in Peter.
a. Christ’s desire is to be involved in every aspect of your life.
b. Peter willingness to allow Christ to use what he had changed His life forever. Your overflow is predicated on your willingness to allow God to use you to include your time and resources.
c. You have to be willing to obey what seems like a minor instruction before you get what seems like a major instruction- Christ request Peter to thrust out a little from the shore before he instructs him to launch out to the deep.
ALL INSTRUCTION ARE IMPORTANT
D, You have to be willing to be inconvenient to experience overflow.
-They already went fishing
- They were cleaning there nets
Has God ever told you to do something at the most impropable time.
Has he used you more when it seems like you were at your worst
Told you to give when you barely had enough
Told you to praise Him when you do not feel like it, seemingly have nothing to praise Him, when your situation does not look like it is getting better but worse. (ENCOURGE THEM TO OFFER PRAISE)
E. Christ tells Peter to go to the deep, Peter obeys the Word and not his feelings and lets down his net. What took him all night with no success God is going to do it in less time, it is not going to take all day, just obey the Word of the Lord.
F. Do not put limits on what he going to do . Studies show the boat was 27 feet long, 7.5 feet wide and 4 feet deep. It could hold up to 15 people.
G. You need partners for this next move! You cannot fly solo. (Refer to Bishop Jakes). Your obdience will result in those connected to you be blessed. Unfortunately there will be Pirates, Parasites, Pontificators
H. Peter ends up repenting because the enormity of the Blessing.
I. It also changed the life of James and Johns! What God is about to do in your life is not just about you but the Kingdom.
Inspite of you overflow God is going to release inconvenient overflow!
