Matt. 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid
Matt. 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid
John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
1 john 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
1 john 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
How do you see you?
Gal. 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
I am portraying as he has commanded
Gal. 5:14 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
We have our instructions
1 peter 1:15 “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;”
you are set apart for God’s use
we are here to show others how to live as Jesus has shown us
matt 5:41-48 “And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
