John 14 1-6
14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God;[a] believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions  If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?[b] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”[c] Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.as No one comes to the Father except through me
A secured reservation
The thought of death troubles human beings and always has. Jesus had spoken to the disciples about his death (13:33, 36), and they were troubled. Now he said to them in essence, “Stop worrying. Our pastor preached last sunday about facing reality. Last week I begin of ponder a few things. The first was how do I make best of my time and life on this earth, What can I do to change someone situation or help someone, The next thing I thought about was how would I be remembered one I leave this earth, Because the truth of the matter is my brothers and sisters one day we are going to leave this mortal body. I heard a song that said, I dont care where you carry my body, but my soul belongs to God. My brothers and sister the most important thing I could dwell on is where I want to spend eternity, It would make sense for me to preach, Pray, Sing, Play the drums, take temperate, encourage others and still die and go to hell.
I don’t know about you bu I want to get to heaven….The bible says, what does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul.. Dont lose your soul
Text
The Bible in John 14 and 2 speaks of Heaven as a MANSION. prepared by Christ for his prepared people...In this text Jesus was speaking to his disciples. He explains to them in versus 31-36. That he would not be with them physically anymore. So the disciples became distraught, troubled, sad and worried. These were the disciples that some left their families to follow Jesus some left their jobs to follow Jesus some gave up all they had to follow him so it seemed natural for the disciples to be sad in this instance. But Jesus did not say don’t cry, he did not say don’t greive, as a matter fact those things are natural those things are human nature when we suffer from a loss, but he said don’t let your heart be troubled
Why? Because the heart is the fort to the soul and whatever you do keep trouble from it.
Thomas one his disciples asked JESUS where he would be going
. Jesus explains that he is going away to be with his FATHER AND THE DISCIPLES should not be TROUBLED.
The bible stated let not your heart be troubled, in other words Be not cast down or discouraged.
Sure enough there will be times were we don't always understand what God is doing.
However we are to Let your heart be kept with full trust in God.
Keepki
My brothers and sisters there will even be times we may have to cry tears.
But David said that weeping May only endure for a night.
But after your weeping is done hold on JOY is coming in the morning.
During the this time Most of us would say that our hearts are troubled.
The scriptures In John gives the remedy and prescription for this trouble of heart.
The remedy is to Believe, Believe what Jesus told his disciples in the text.
He says If you believe in God believe also in Me.
To believe that Christ is the Mediator between God and Man and THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN CHRIST HAS A secured reservations in a MANSION MADE IN HEAVEN.
I looked up the word Mansion-
"mansion" is μονή, monay.  It means a dwelling place
Jesus is not telling us that heaven has compartments or that we will have little places in which to live.
In the ancient culture, a father's house was where the extended family lived.
Rooms were often added on as the family grew through birth and marriage.  What Jesus was doing was using the present day illustration of a loving, tight, family community
So, Christ is saying that He is preparing a place for us in heaven where we will dwell with God in close communion with Him and that there is room in heaven for all whom God calls to salvation.
This building is not built by man.
By believing in Christ as the Mediator between God and man, we gain comfort.
Comfort in knowing that once we leave this mortal body of we live right now those who have secured their reservation shall see him again.
1 John 3:2
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
Comfort in knowing that once we leave these mortal bodies we will go to his house and be under the care of The only Wise God .and have our own mansion.
Im not talking about an earthly mansion but a heavenly mansion.
2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Many of us have our views on mansions we picture big houses with a long drive way with a code to get into the gate. We have seen physical mansions built by man that stood high and stretch wide.
one of the most famous and most beautiful mansions is known as the White House. We see pictures of the White House..people travel all around the world to see the White House to see its pillars that stand so high. To see the beautiful water that's spring forth in the front but  no matter how huge and beautiful the White House its still a man made mansion.
However. No matter how huge and beautiful the White House is at a drop of dime it can be destroyed.
The twin towers were the worlds tallest and largest buildings. Standing at 1,362 and 1,368 feet and each 110 stories......But in the blink of an eye we understand that those tall large buildings were tore down. No matter how tall the building were they were man made buildings and anything that is man made can be destroyed in a blink of an eye.
John 14 chapter speaks on mansion that we all can secure our reservations at. This mansion by far more beautiful than the White House and far more taller and larger than any attraction that is known to the eyes of man a buildings not made by man It speaks of the fathers house which we know as heaven as having many of these buildings.
There are differences between these everlasting buildings and the natural buildings that we may live in on earth.
-A man made building when a storm comes  will fall down, but a building not made by man will stand tall.
-A man made building will flood once to much water gets in but a building not made by man will even fight off the flies of natures water system.
-A Man made building will decay once it gets old and it will be destroyed..But A Building not made by man is everlasting.
What i like about living in this Mansion
We will not have to worry about any kind of sickness, in this mansion.
We won’t ave to worry about the troubles of this life in that mansion
We won’t have to worry about pain in that mansion
There will be no more suffering in that mansion.
We don’t have to worry about sickness
I don't know about you but one day after its all said and done I want to secure my reservation to that mansion.
While we are here on earth a temporary home in this earth is a temporary vessel we are only borrowing.
We are limited by time that’s why it’s important to take advantage of our time that God has God given us .
Ecclestes 3:1
Confirms this when it says there is a time and season for everything under the sun.
But once we leave this physical body we should not lose hope.
It was 2 Corinthians 5 and 8 that says we are confident that if we are absent of the body we will be present with the lord.
In the text God says that I go to prepare a place for you. in other words God is putting the right things in the right places.
He setting up your place for us. He’s preparing a place for a prepared people.
This is the time for us to secure our reservation by accepting Jesus Christ as our lord and savior.
Closing
There was a story of a woman who has heard of a mansion in this wonderful vacation spot. This place was a place that everyone who visited were in awe and amazed.
This women always dreamed of one day making it to this destination.
So she decided to call years ahead and make reservations.
As she called they required her to make a payment to secure her reservation.
But she didn’t stop there. Every week she called.
I’m just making sure my reservation is secured”
She called so much that she got to know the owner.
As the the day approached for her big tripped she packed her bags and took flight.
As she arrived to her destination. She was not disappointed.
It was as beautiful as ever. As she approached the welcome desk.
The CEO grabbed her and welcomed her.
As she took out her wallet to pay the remainder balance the CEO.
No more sickness here.
No more bills here.
No more pain here.
I don’t know about you but I want to secure my reservation.
Alter call.
their faith with the sixth I am claim in John. He is not one way but the way to God. He is not only true. He is the truth
