Acts 5:1-4 ~ Lying to the Holy Spirit

• Peter said that Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit.

• He said that he lied not to men, but to God.

• The Holy Spirit is God.

Psalm 139:7-8 ~ Holy Spirit is Omnipresent

‘Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.’

1 Corinthians 2:10-11 ~ Holy Spirit is Omniscience

‘But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.’

• Holy Spirit is Omniscience – The Spirit knows all the things of God.

• Holy Spirit is a person because He searches & thinks & knows.

• The Holy Spirit reveals the things of God to us!

Revelation from God, comes to us through the Holy Spirit!

Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity ~ the 3rd person of the Godhead.

God, the Father ~ God, the Son and ~ God, the Holy Spirit!

Matthew 28:19 ~ The Great Commission

‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’

God, the Father ~ made the plans.

God, the Son ~ perfectly, carried out the plans of the Father.

God, the Holy Spirit ~ reveals the plans of God to us.

Jeremiah 29:11 ~ God, the Father ~ made the plans

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’ NLT

John 6:38 ~ God, the Son ~ perfectly, carried out the plans of the Father

‘For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.’

‘how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery.’

Acts 1:8 ~ Holy Spirit Revelation is Power

‘But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come….

Psalm 36:9 ~ Holy Spirit Revelation is Light

‘The fountain of life flows from you to satisfy me. In your light of holiness we receive the light of revelation.’ TPT

• ‘For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.’ NKJV

• ‘You’re a fountain of cascading light, and you open our eyes to light.,’ MSG

• ‘You are the source of all life, and because of Your light, we see the light.’ GNT

Let’s open our eyes to the revelation that God has for us!

We encourage you this week to spend time with the person of Holy Spirit. See Him as a person. A person who has many things to tell you. Many things to share with you. We can ask the Spirit anything! He’s the Spirit of Truth! See yourself sitting and talking with Him as He brings the truth and dispels the lies of the enemy. That revelation is priceless!
