As we consider another Psalm this week, I would like for us to look at Psalm 19.
This Psalm shows us two different way in which God has revealed Himself to the world.
As we come to know more of who God is and how He has made himself known, we, like the Psalmest, will praise God for making Himself known.
This Psalm was sent to the chief Musician.
This would have been the man who was responsible for orchestrating praise music for the people.
David writes this Psalm to be sung in praise of the way God has revealed Himself.
This evening we will looking at the first 6 verses, considering the way in which God reveals Himself to ALL people.
Psalm 19:1–6 KJV 1900
The heavens declare the glory of God;And the firmament sheweth his handywork.Day unto day uttereth speech,And night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language,Where their voice is not heard.Their line is gone out through all the earth,And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,And rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven,And his circuit unto the ends of it:And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
General Revelation
