Getting Your Prayer Answered

INTRODUCTION:

Every Christian worker should learn those secrets in the Word of God which will intensify and multiply his praying capacity and accomplishments.

I. TITHING ALL OUR INCOME

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”—Malachi 3:10, 11.

II. LIVING IN GOD’S PURPOSE

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose”—Romans 8:28.

III. COURTING GOD’S GLORY

‘Now, therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them : and I will make of thee a great nation”—Exodus 32:10.

IV. CONSIDERING THE POOR

“Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble”—Psalm 41:1–3.

V. SEEKING THE WELFARE OF OTHERS

“I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him; because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth”—Luke 11:8, 9.

VI. WALKING BEFORE GOD WITH A PERFECT HEART

“Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed unto the Lord, and said, Remember now, O Lord I beseech Thee, how I have walked before Thee in truth and with a perfect heart” —Isaiah 38:2–3.

VII. PRAYING IN THE LINE CHRIST HAS MADE REQUEST

“Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest”—Luke 10:2.
