Introduction
Last week we had our First Fruits service and we talked about gathering jars…
How many of us are willing to act in faith and gather the jars?
God is going to do what He is going to do, but we have to put in the hard work.
If you put in the work, God will bless your willing spirit.

In this new series, Kingdom Culture, we are going to look at what it means to live a Kingdom filled life.
The Kingdom of God has to grow the Kingdom of God.
In Matthew, we see that God is laying out what it means to live for the Kingdom.
He tells us how to pray (Lord’s prayer), how to fast, and how to give.
Many people misunderstand what these verses are really saying…
It’s not so much the literal things you own, but rather God’s asking the question.
Where is your focus and heart?
Is it in social media, popularity or liking with your friends, in a dating relationship, having brand name things.
A lot of these things aren’t bad, but if our purpose and life revolves around them then they can become bad.
Jesus says do not live for the things of Earth.
Store up your treasures in heaven.
Treasures in heaven give enjoyment now and later.
Our material things will not go with us, but the good done for the Kingdom of God will last for eternity.
When we get to heaven it’s not going to matter what iPhone we have or how many followers we have on social media.
God is going to ask us what did we do with His son, Jesus.
If we’re being honest when I was in your seat, I did not store my treasures in the Kingdom.
I put my purpose in sports, relationships, being liked, and all kinds of things.
We have to get up asking ourselves what can I do today to grow the Kingdom of God.
Jesus goes on and breaks it down even more…
He says that no one in this life can serve 2 masters.
You can not live for Christ and live for the world.
If you’re loyal to one master, you’ll hate the other.
It has to be this or that….
Finally, Jesus gives us an argument against worrying in life.
As people we love control.
Not having control freaks people out.
Conclusion
Escape rooms…
If you're going to live for the Kingdom you have to be okay with surrendering your control.
Just like the birds, God is going to take care of His children.
Worry is rooted in not knowing the value that God has placed on you.
Living for the Kingdom is uncomfortable, but we are comforted by Jesus.
So tonight ask yourself, “Am I living for the Kingdom or am I living for the world?”
If you find yourself living for the world…
In your chair or with an adult, pray and surrender your life to Him.
