What this passage confirms to us today is that Jesus is indeed the Messiah who has come into the world & that He does all things well.
Even though for this family, the healing of their deaf & mute member was to be kept silent, Mark’s Gospel makes it abundantly clear that this Jesus is God’s Messiah who has come into the world.
