Ask: ability to carry out desire

1 Peter 4:2 (ESV)

2 so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.

Ask: the will of God

Romans 10:1 (ESV)

1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.

Ask: harvest souls / salvation from failure, pain, disappointment of my children, family, church

Isaiah 31:3 (ESV)

3 The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together.

Ask: a heart that trust only God as helper, not man

Ezekiel 11:19 “19 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,” Ezekiel 36:26 “26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Ask: A new heart that is one among believers, a new spirit within men.

Luke 3:6 (ESV)

6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’ ”

Ask: Bring us your salvation

Philippians 3:4 (ESV)

4 though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more:

Ask: Break from me the confidence in the flesh and instruct, teach me to place my confidence in you. instruct me how to walk in spirit.

Nehemiah 13:26 (ESV)

26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? Among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was beloved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin.

Ask: Expose all who are in my circle and lead me to sin.
