Last week we saw from James 4:13-17 that we cannot boast about a future that God alone holds. Rather than presuming upon what will happen, we gladly submit under the sovereign will of our God. This week we continue this thought with the important reminder that God does will to sovereignly protect His children. Whatever trials or temptations we face in this new year, we can know that the LORD is our keeper!
